This past year tested our resilience and proved the strength of our community and our organization. Together, we turned challenges into measurable progress. As an organization, Futbol Friends International continues to thrive forward with renewed energy and lofty goals for the future.

Our foundation will always be the community of players and sponsors who have been along for the ride for so many years. Your generosity allowed us to expand our reach and deepen our local impact.

We impacted 9 community programs this year with grants of $1,000 each. We achieved this by hosting our 16th Six2Six and 2nd Annual Rhode Island Soccerthon. Every milestone achieved belongs to you, our dedicated network of supporters.

Looking ahead, we remain committed to transparency, and sustainable growth. Thank you for standing alongside us as we build a stronger and more impactful Futbol Friends International Community!

Empowering Communities: Real Stories of Impact

Bridgeport United: Bridgeport, CT

Bridgeport United Football Club operates a completely free youth girls soccer program in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The community-focused club offers recreational and youth team opportunities designed to build confidence, teach soccer fundamentals, and keep local sports accessible

The Spring Season hosted 55 girls for 50 practices boasting near 100% attendance throughout the season
Program emphasizes skills development and understanding of teamwork
Competitively, the U14 girls finished with a 6-2 record and the U12 were 4-4
The program exposes girls to the world outside their community, many of whom have never had the opportunity to travel outside of Bridgeport and or play in an organized sport setting

Mundialito: Central Falls, RI

For more than 6 years, the Mundialito has been an annual co-ed futsal league that has served as a community-building event which brings people of Central Falls, RI together as they celebrate the multitudes of cultures through the love of soccer, and friendly competition.

Benefits 450-500 boys and girls from 6-19 years old
Helps fund the Mundialito scholarship awarded to deserving student-athletes
Supports the community by bringing families and businesses together

Wire Soccer AcademY: Kenya

Wire Soccer Academy is a community-based football academy in Oyugis, Kenya, dedicated to identifying, nurturing and developing young football talent while using sport to create positive opportunities for children and young people. FFI financial support has been instrumental in their journey

Enabling the purchase of essential training equipment such as footballs, bibs, cones, markers, boots, pumps and first-aid supplies
This support has helped provide young players with a safer and better environment in which to train, develop their skills and pursue their dreams

Wire Soccer Academy Pro Player Development

Golan Oliech, a 17-year-old goalkeeper and Wire Soccer Academy graduate who has represented Kenya at the U17 AFCON level. He is currently with Tusker FC on their pre-season tour in Rwanda and is on the verge of making the next important step in his football career.
